Admission to Kindergarten involves an informal interaction with the Principal and the educator to assess the child’s readiness and comfort.
For Grade 1 and above, students are required to appear for an entrance assessment designed to evaluate foundational competencies in a stress-free manner. Students will be guided and assisted by the educators during the assessment process.
Nursery to Grade 2: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Grade 3 to 7: 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Children in the Foundation and Preparatory stages (Nursery to Grade V) may wear comfortable casual attire on their birthdays. However, if the birthday coincides with a field trip or any school activity, students are advised to wear the prescribed school uniform and may choose to celebrate on another day. Students may carry simple sweets for their classmates.
Senior School (Grade VI onwards) students are required to come to school in the prescribed school uniform on their birthdays. Birthday celebrations during school hours are not encouraged, and students are requested not to bring cakes, gifts, or return gifts to school.
Yes, school will certainly upgrade each year, the school can accommodate around 2300 students. It will commence in April 2026 with classes till Grade VII and by adding one Grade each year, will have classes till Grade – XII eventually.

The Safety and Security of our children is a priority for all of us at The Arthah School. Children are never left unattended and didis and teachers are on duty to ensure that children board and disembark from the school vehicles. Transport registers document the attendance both in the morning and in the evenings. Photo ID cards are issued to the parent/guardian and these need to be produced when the child is handed over at the pickup point each day. Bus log books are maintained and are updated on a daily basis. In Elementary and Junior School, the teacher escorts the children to ensure that the child boards the right bus.
We have an Infirmary with a full-time Nurse who is equipped to handle First Aid small cuts and bruises. Although no internal medicine will be administered by the School Nurse, in case of a need she will connect with the Parent to seek permission for the same. In case of an emergency, Parents are informed immediately and the child along with the Nurse will be rushed to the Hospital which the school has tied up with for required attention and action. Parent’s emergency contact number is kept as a part of school records.
Taking the child home mid-way during school hours is not a practice entertained by the school. The only occasions when this is allowed is in case of a tragedy in the family or if the child is sick himself/herself. However, the school will consider any other reason based on its gravity and urgency. This permission will be granted at the sole discretion of the Principal and the child is allowed to go ONLY with the parents or a person with proper authorization from the parents.
The school provides lunch, served at the lunch hall, that is compulsory for all students of Grade I and above. In the elementary classes (Nursery, PP I & PP II), the lunch facility is optional. The school also has a canteen that sells freshly prepared snacks.
Children of junior school have an assigned canteen day and must only use coupons for their purchases.

All payments to school are vide, cheques, drafts or online bank transfers only. A Drop Box is placed at the Reception where parents can drop off cheques or DDs. We have drop boxes where cheques can be dropped. Alternately, fees can be paid online as well. Details for online transfers will be given on request by the Administrator/Parent Relationship Officer.

There are regular Parent Teacher Meetings held in school. While formal report cards are given twice a year, a system of non-reporting Parent Teacher Meets is also followed. Specific days are also assigned for each class where parents can walk-in to meet the teachers with prior appointment.

Scheduled communication between teachers and parents includes parent teacher meetings, end of the term reporting, meeting by appointment and walk-in time. The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) which will be formed by the end of the first year will meet periodically to discuss the infrastructural and academic issues of the school. Admission to The Arthah School is based upon vacancy in the class to which admission is sought and the age appropriateness as per the school’s admission policy.
There are no admission tests conducted, although children seeking admission to Grade II and above are given a worksheet to complete which is primarily to check if they have the Minimum Level Competency (MLC) for the grade they are seeking admission to. This worksheet enables the school to identify any gaps in learning that the child may have and ensure that these are addressed once he/she is admitted
The Arthah School has a well drafted Homework Policy which ensures that children are not bogged down by boring and long drawn homework and assignments. At the Pre Primary level, homework is given only once or twice a week. These are mainly fun sheets that work as a bridge between learning of concepts done at school and reinforcement of the same at home. In the Junior Grades, a schedule for the week is drawn that ensures that work given to be done at home does not exceed a maximum of one hour’s study. More than 3 subjects are not given in a day. Additionally, the school has a unique “No Homework Day” every Wednesday (till Grade V). Once the child reaches Middle School, academic rigor is increased, although every care is taken to ensure that the child is not burdened with heavy and meaningless homework.
We give preference to siblings of students already in the school. In such a case, siblings automatically move to the top of their respective category in the waiting list.
The applicant must send the resume / CV and if there is a vacancy, is called for a telephonic interview followed by an interaction with the Principal, if shortlisted. This is followed by a demo class and the filling in of the Personal Data Form. Based on these, an assessment is made of the applicant’s subject expertise, ability to transact that knowledge given the class dynamics.
The school will be affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi (CBSE). Since the process for affiliation can begin only once the school commences and has students and faculty on board, the online application for affiliation to CBSE will be filled and uploaded before June 30th 2026. Permission and recognition from the local board and authorities along with the NOC for starting a CBSE School have already been sought by the Trust.

If the parent is transferred from another state, he has to obtain the original mark sheet/report card and Transfer Certificate from the previous school before taking admission. The Transfer Certificate has to be attested by the concerned Educational Board Authorities.
Our fee structure is transparent; no additional fee is required to be paid throughout the year other than the stated fees (Quarterly Fees), except for any voluntary activities such as school trips & camps.
The entire school is covered with CCTV cameras and all gates are manned by security guards. All systems and processes are in place to ensure the safety of the child in the school premises and while in the school bus.

Healthcare facilities are available in the school medical room which functions under the guidance of a full-time doctor. The medical room is fully equipped to give first aid in case of any emergency. The health centre of the school organizes regular medical checkups for staff and students. It also organizes awareness camps on various health problems.
